Brewer Family Reunion July 2007

Cousin Mark Shafer, his wife Carol, and daughter Amy came into Peoria, Illinois and we had no choice but to call all Brewers to enjoy some family time (and Volleyball) together. By the way. The "old people" beat the "young people" hands down!

Elsa Marie Wernowsky was the oldest child of Carl Charles Wernowsky. She married Rainey Bless in 1914. After Charles Wernowsky passed away, she took care of raising the youngest Wernowskys. Missing from this picture is Anna Bless (age 3), Anna Wernowsky (age 31), Ida Wernowsky (age 24), Bessie Wernowsky (age 22), Edna Wernowsky (age 20), and Dorothy Wernowsky (age 10). Dorothy was staying with Uncle Ernest Wernowsky.

Charles Wernowsky had passed away 1924, and sister Sophia had passed away in 1918
