1982 Ada Lu Buchanan Brewer (1889 - 1986), age about 93. Grandma Ada lived about 4-5 years in a nursing home in Emmetsburg, IA. This picture was taken in her home on Madison Street where she ran an Antiques Shop for about 20 years.
When Grandpa Charles took sick, in about 1945 with throat cancer, they sold the family farm in the Rodman Iowa area and moved to Emmetsburg Iowa. After Grandpa Charles passed away in 1950, Grandma Ada moved to Peoria in about 1952-1953 with WC and Frances Brewer until she found a place of her own.
